Fremont Street is the second most popular street in Las Vegas after The Strip. It is located a cab ride away from the infamous Las Vegas Strip and in the heard of the downtown area. In many ways Fremont Street is the OG of Las Vegas. Many of the popular casinos, including the Golden Nugget, call this location home. Although The Strip has an abundance of lights and neon signs, it is Fremont Street that has earned the nickname Glitter Gulch.

Fremont Street dates back to 1905 and was the first street in Las Vegas to be paved and graced with a traffic light. Today it is well known for the Fremont Street Experience. The Fremont Street Experience includes concerts & a dramatic light display that is shown under the canopy of the street. If you have a few days to spend in Las Vegas you really should plan a visit to Fremont Street so you can take in everything Las Vegas has to offer and to see where it all began.
